Pastor Dave

Pastor Dave’s story is one shaped by faith, perseverance, and purpose. Raised as the son of missionaries and college professors, he grew up alongside three siblings—losing his twin sister to cancer at just 13, a loss that deeply formed his compassion and calling. His journey led him through Nyack College, Taylor University, Monmouth College, and The Alliance Seminary, and into pastoral ministry across New York, New England, the Midwest, and now Middletown, NY.

Married to his wife Carol for 49 years, Pastor Dave is a proud dad to four married adult children and Grandpa to five grandchildren. At the core of everything he does is discipleship—walking with others as they grow closer to Jesus. His ministry motto says it all: being and making disciples, one step at a time. A former national-class distance runner and coach, Pastor Dave’s love for running inspired the Run with God ministry, blending Faith & Fitness. When he’s not running, you’ll find him golfing or enjoying long walks and meaningful conversations with family and friends.
